won last year’s world championship title: teams from as far afield as New Zealand, Pakistan and, er, Paisley keep their eyes (and their lungs) on the prize. It’s not just all about the competition, though; you can skirl with the Highland Dancing Showcase, dodge carelessly tossed cabers at the Glasgow Highland Games, or stuff your face with smoked salmon, as Taste of Scotland are setting up their luxury food village in the arena.
