Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Sponsorship and Development Manager
Salary: circa £30,000 pa Application closing date: Monday 15 November
This position will be offered as an initial 1 year contract, with 3 month probationary period.
Unique Events on behalf of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay are looking for an experienced Sponsorship and Development Manager to join their festival team. The Sponsorship and Development Manager will play a pivotal role in developing Edinburgh’s Hogmanay - the world’s original and the best New Year celebrations. Suitable candidates must be available to commence employment prior to this year’s festival, familiarizing with the project while focusing on the future.
This is a demanding and creative post, requiring substantial experience in events fund-raising and a high degree of determination, professionalism, and articulacy.

Freelance Sub Editor With SCOTLAND’S LEADING ENTERTAINMENT & LIFESTYLE PUBLISHER
The List is looking for a new freelance sub editor to assist on the main title and other supplements. To cope with the busier times of our production schedule we need someone who can work fl exibly, and often at short notice, sub editing copy and proof reading magazine pages before they go to press.
You must have the following:
• Previous sub editing experience for newspapers or magazines. • A strong understanding of grammar, a keen eye for detail and a sense of what makes good copy. • Experience working with Quark and/or InDesign. • Flexibility to work when required (for example, two days a fortnight). The List is one of Scotland’s most well-respected and long-standing publications. We are a professional organisation with an enjoyable working atmosphere and we always welcome new people into the team.
