Freelance Sub Editor With SCOTLAND’S LEADING ENTERTAINMENT & LIFESTYLE PUBLISHER

The List is looking for a new freelance sub editor to assist on the main title and other supplements. To cope with the busier times of our production schedule we need someone who can work flexibly, and often at short notice, sub editing copy and proof reading magazine pages before they go to press.

You must have the following:

Previous sub editing experience for newspapers or magazines. A strong understanding of grammar, a keen eye for detail and a sense of what makes good copy. Experience working with Quark and/or InDesign. Flexibility to work when required (for example, two days a fortnight). The List is one of Scotland’s most well-respected and long-standing publications. We are a professional organisation with an enjoyable working atmosphere and we always welcome new people into the team.
