It is a day for celebration, and a day for regret. Come On Gang!, one of the finest pop acts to emerge from the capital in recent years, are gracing the world with a debut album on the very same day they break up, leaving room for other cheerily punctuated music collectivists to command the stage (The Go! Team are kicking about elsewhere this fortnight). Joining this bittersweet celebration will be live bands Over the Wall and Cancel the Astronauts, while music bloggers Peenko and Ayetunes will battle it out on the decks. It’s BYOB as well, so pour yourself a drink and give them a good send off. Pilrig St Paul’s Church, Edinburgh, Sat 12 Feb.
