The Japanese artist returns to the Corn Exchange Gallery with an exhibition of handcrafted woodcuts based on photographs. The prints, which range in height from three-and-a-half feet to over eight feet, are based on images digitally processed in monochrome before being distilled into large hand-cut woodblocks and carved using a traditional Japanese knife.
