THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE LETTERS OF THE ISSUE

List.co.uk's comments boards have been alive with opinions over the Festival. Here's a sample of just two.

RUSSELL KANE (●●●●●) So wrong, Kane is so unfunny and, in my opinion, the most undeserving winner of the Comedy Award in a long time. Your writers seem to repeatedly overate everything. Frisky and Mannish are abysmal too. Please try and remember us plebs are having to pay for this stuff and not getting free press tickets. Ravinda Kor K

THE WRESTLING (●●●●●) The most surreal couple of hours in my life! What a brilliant, hilarious, but mental caper it was. I had no idea what to expect (apart from wrestlers and comedians, in some form or another, obviously) but was transfixed throughout the whole thing. At some points, you just didn't know where to look because there was so much going on on-stage.

It felt like there was genuine fear from some of the comedians on stage literally no-one knew what was going to happen next. There were a few hairy moments, but the rightful order of things was established, when 'fair play and decency' won at the end! I loved it. Jo 2010, Edinburgh
