WHAT’S THE BEST BUS ROUTE IN GLASGOW OR EDINBURGH?

@CrenalletedArts In Glasgow the 89/90 is the alternative tourist bus. In Edinburgh the 10 ‘cos it’s green!

@j_faulkner The number 5 in Glasgow it gets you out of Castlemilk :p @MosaBrown Gotta be the 25 bus route in Edinburgh. Very reliable service and has a nightbus too!

@rachwadetweet The 41 takes you right from the heart of the city to the lovely seaside village of Cramond in minutes.

@urbaneprofessor Got to be the 35. The most scenic way to get to Edinburgh airport :o) @lemon_squeezy No, not the 35. It’s the mystery tour of west

Edinburgh’s industrial estates and takes an hour to do what others can in 20m. @wildcardkitty The 36 is a great route one of the few to connect Stockie to the rest of Edin. Crap last bus times though.

@Mill22 Any bus that goes from Braehead in Glasgow are the worst was stranded after the Dylan gig the other weekend, waited 1.5 hours! @itsnotred Edinburgh’s Wounded Knee has a song about taking the number 44 to Balerno, often performed with audience participation.

@Scotcampus Love the 5 from London Road over North Bridge to Morningside for a pint in the Canny Mans and a peek in the second hand shops.

128 THE LIST 20 Oct–17 Nov 2011

@MichaelMacleod1 The 21 in Edin for the man who steps off and headbutts the wing mirror when it looks back at him. Drivers love him. @AnneMcMunn The no 10 bus from Leith. Free WiFi, helpful screen with route and announcements at each stop. PLUS it’s a lovely eco bus!

THE ANSWER The number 10 bus route in Edinburgh. From Western Harbour to Torphin.

@ayenomaybe I second @AnneMcMunn, love the 10, always liked the route and the new buses are great.
