Scotland’s Dance Film Festival, DANCE:FILM 11, returns to Edinburgh in November with Hollywood musicals, cheesy 80s dance films, fascinating dance documentaries, dance workshops, installations and events.

We have two pairs of tickets to give away to DANCE:FILM 11’s closing night event Dance till Dawn on Sat 19 Nov, 11pm at the Cameo Picturehouse, Edinburgh which is an all-nighter of cheesy 80s dance films including Footloose, Xanadu, Flashdance and Dirty Dancing. So come along to DANCE:FILM 11 from 12-19 November and celebrate dance and film in all its wondrous forms!

The Bard of Salford, John Cooper Clarke comes to the HMV Picture House on Fri 28 Oct. Described as England’s legendary Punk Poet, John’s biting, satirical, political and very funny verse delivered in his rapid-fire performance style resonated with the punk movement in the late 70s which saw him tour with seminal and ground breaking bands including The Sex Pistols, The Buzzcocks, The Fall and Elvis Costello to name but a few. Nowadays John’s work is loved by bands such as Plan B and Arctic Monkeys as well as being taught at schools and universities throughout the UK.

Ever explored a museum at night? This November the National Museum of Scotland is bringing an exclusive chance to explore the newly refurbished museum galleries at night with RBS Museum Lates.
