The exhibition features work from the past decade alongside a new, immersive piece spanning the length of the gallery, and uses the artist’s interest in technology to explore the notion that we continue to believe in things that have been proven to be false. Works on display include ‘Misshapen Pearl’, which looks at the streetlamp’s function in consumer society; ‘Skipping Over Damaged Areas’, which uses appropriated footage of film titles with a new and unexpected narrative; and an interactive piece in which exhibition goers can watch different films at the same time through 3D glasses. Dundee Contemporary Arts, until Sun 8 Jan.
