Angela Steel: Knots VisualArt

Edinburgh College of Art graduate Angela Steel unveils a new series of seven stained glass panels exploring the savagery of the two world wars through the character of a young girl caught between childhood and the change of adulthood. This powerful and imaginative story was inspired by the image of a once grand, now ruined, house near where the artist lives, which was used as a children’s asylum from the early 20th century.
