Favourite places to eat and drink? Stereo is good for food. Even though I’m not vegan, they still make interesting dishes that appeal to me despite the lack of meat, and it’s not too expensive. For drinks, the Ivy on Argyle Street has quite a laid back atmosphere which is a good vibe for a Friday night pint after work. Best day out/night out? I’m a big cinema fan and Glasgow has a lot to offer on that front, whether it be the vast beast that is Cineworld or the quaint, intimate touch of the GFT. Other than that, you could have a wander round the Gallery of Modern Art I think they’ve got an Alasdair Gray exhibition on which sounds cool. Bloc on Bath Street put on some good gigs at night and the Captain’s Rest is good for music and watching a bit of footie on the weekend.

Favourite quiet spot or hidden gem? The Glue Factory put on some cool art exhibitions or it’s nice to go to the Botanic Gardens and have a walk around the glasshouse, or one of the parks. (Lauren Mayberry)
