HITLIST 2012 The best places to eat in Edinburgh and Glasgow The 2012 edition of The List Eating and Drinking Guide, launched last month, features our recommendations for some of the finest places to dine out in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Our team of reviewers were charged with the task of sampling the culinary delights of over 900 establishments, including 130 new arrivals. To save you the job of visiting all 900 places right away the Guide also features handy Hitlists which highlight the crème de la crème of what is on offer – those restaurants, cafes, bars and bistros that provide an extra special something. My food is Real Food. I do not follow trends or fads. Every dish on my menus is there because I like to cook and eat it. My sushi, raviolis, mince and tatties are prepared applying the same attention to detail, fabulous standard of ingredients and passion as every other plate I serve. Desserts are lovingly crafted in my kitchen from the ice cream to the crumble.
