Since 1977, the Maclaurin Art Exhibition has given pupils in South Ayrshire schools the opportunity to show, in a professional gallery setting, a diverse range of artwork. The Maclaurin Trust, in association with South Ayrshire Council, supports the exhibition. This year over 1,000 exhibits featuring drawings, paintings, craft and group work by young people aged from pre-school to S3 in secondary school will be on show and there are awards in all age groups. The Maclaurin Award of £100 is presented for the most outstanding work overall. Presentation of 2012 Maclaurin Awards - Saturday 23rd June at 11am
