But this isn’t just a concert, this is – like going to see the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney – a chance to soak up some of the cultural capital of your times at close quarters. Go. View Madonna in three dimensions, being rained on by the same rain as you. Feel a part of something bigger. 2 You’ll talk about it afterwards Did you enjoy her Superbowl show? No. I must take issue with your opinion. Let’s do it in the pub afterwards. Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. won’t be there, flipping the bird and generally upsetting the children/sponsors, but (and probably in the most obvious and shocking way possible – we’re under no illusions) at least you’ll leave thinking about the show you’ve just seen.

Reports say the opening night featured the singer brandishing an AK-47 and performing before a video screen that flashed up a Nazi insignia (says The Hollywood Reporter). She was playing in Tel Aviv at the time. Lordy.
4 There will be hits Oh yes, all the old favourites about religion and virginity and dancing in gay clubs will be here. ‘Papa Don’t Preach’, ‘Open Your Heart’, ‘Like a Virgin’, ‘Vogue!’, ‘Like a Prayer’, have all served on this tour, and songs from the new album such as ‘Girl Gone Wild’ and ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ aren’t that bad.
