Karen L Vaughan Karen L Vaughan has exhibited her screen prints, photographs and craft-based work across Scotland and around the UK over the past 20 years. Her latest exhibition, I Can’t Get That Sound You Make Out of My Head (which runs at the Arches, Glasgow, Thu 26 Jul–Fri 31 Aug), straddles the boundary between craft and ne art and features a series of hand-crafted panels displaying hand-stitched lyrics from classic indie songs. The exhibition, which raises issues about the relationship between gender, sewing and the contemporary arts market, also includes a new collection of hand-sewn images based on photographs of graffi ti art.
