Karen L Vaughan Karen L Vaughan has exhibited her screen prints, photographs and craft-based work across Scotland and around the UK over the past 20 years. Her latest exhibition, I Can’t Get That Sound You Make Out of My Head (which runs at the Arches, Glasgow, Thu 26 Jul–Fri 31 Aug), straddles the boundary between craft and fi ne art and features a series of hand-crafted panels displaying hand-stitched lyrics from classic indie songs. The exhibition, which raises issues about the relationship between gender, sewing and the contemporary arts market, also includes a new collection of hand-sewn images based on photographs of graffi ti art.
