TRAD ON THE TYNE Recently shortlisted for the Scottish Event Awards - Best Small Festival, Trad on the Tyne (31 August - 2 September 2012) is a festival of music and nd plenty more! A festival feast in more ways than one; the programme includes last year’s Celtic Connections hit ‘Steele the Show’, an outstanding tribute to Davy y Steele, further concerts (including one by the Celtic ‘supergroup’ Daimh), come-and-try and late night sessions, workshops by the talented Gary West, Wendy Stewart and Siobhan Miller, an Open Stage, storytelling, face painting, pony rides and a hog roast! t!
