Casablanca
It wasn’t particularly expected to be a hit when first released in the early 1940s, but Casablanca is now regarded as one of the greatest romantic Hollywood screen classics. Much of it is down to Max Steiner’s outstanding score, performed live by the BBC SSO in this 70th anniversary showing.
