Peter Howson OBE in welcome return to the Maclaurin Art Gallery in Ayr
It with great pleasure that the Directors of The Maclaurin Trust announce a special exhibition of new work from the internationally renowned artist Peter Howson.OBE.
Raised and educated in Prestwick before attending the Glasgow School, of Art Peter had the fi rst ever exhibition of his work at The Maclaurin in 1982. His last exhibition in the Gallery in 2002 caused a press sensation as it featured a nude portrait of the singer and actress Madonna!
This new exhibition entitled From Death to Life will include paintings and pastels refl ecting on his recent serious illness and his great faith in the power of God to heal and restore.
