THE THIRD MIND Set up as a platform for cross-pollination between arthouse music, film and performance, the sporadic Cryptic Nights programme this time features Edinburgh composer Matthew Collings teaming up with Reykjavik-based visual artist, Erik Parr. The result? Something they’re calling ‘algorithmic cinema’, which aims to fuse sound, software and images, and let the audience connect with it all through ‘data exchange’.
