LATELAB | ATMOSPHERE: LOGAN’S RUN Michael Anderson’s iconic 1976 sci-fi movie in which inhabitants of a futuristic society are terminated at age 30 to combat over-population is the first in a new strand of film screenings exploring entertainment and urbanism. The LateLab Atmosphere events have a reputation for taking a more immersive angle than your average multiplex experience, so expect some unusual technical trickery as well as an emphasis on the topic at hand: namely, the notion of subservience in a city environment. If that doesn’t intrigue you, then there’s also Jenny Agutter in a selection of amazing (and amazingly skimpy) dresses. (Niki Boyle) Inspace, Edinburgh, Sat 23 Mar.
