WIN STUFF WIN TICKETS TO WIDE DAYS MUSIC SEMINAR

Y E N O H A C N N A J

I

Since its launch in 2010, Wide Days has firmly established itself as Scotland’s music convention, bringing senior industry figures to Edinburgh and showcasing the best emerging talent.

This year’s speakers include music publishers who sign songwriters for top pop acts, plus composers for film, TV and theatre. For musicians looking to play outside Scotland, there is a promoter seminar and A&R panel who will give instant feedback on submitted tracks.

Presentations include music photography, a guide to key online services and a simulated contract negotiation to cut through the legal jargon. And unlike any other conference, most of the speakers can be booked for 15-minute consultations.

Tickets for Wide Days 2013, which takes place at Teviot Row House on Wed 10 & Thu 11 Apr, cost between £25 and £125, but The List has two pairs to give away. For a chance to win, enter at list.co.uk/offers. Closing date is Mon 1 Apr.

WIN FAT GOTH’S ALBUM, STUD

It’s been two whole months since Fat Goth’s second album arrived on our doorstep, and after much head-scratching and deliberation, we only found one metaphor to truly describe it. Stud is like a riot; tumultuous, unpredictable and somewhat silly. Although not necessarily fond of riots, we are incredibly keen on the Dundonian trio and have two digital copies of Stud to give away. Head to list.co.uk/offers for your chance to win.

HOW TO ENTER

Log onto list.co.uk/offers. Closing date for competitions is Wed 17 Apr, unless otherwise stated. There is no cash alternative. Usual List rules apply.
