OUTSKIRTS FESTIVAL A line-up of musical, literary and artistic talent will be invading Platform in Easterhouse for the annual all-day festival, including husband and wife outfit A Hawk and a Hacksaw (featuring Jeremy Barnes, formerly of Neutral Milk Hotel), stunning venue-specific light projections by Florence To (pictured), the poetic musings of Ryan van Winkle and eloquently rhythmical performances by avant-garde composer Jaap Blonk. ■ Platform in Easterhouse on Sat 20 Apr, tickets cost £15 including food, or £10 without food.
