GONORTH By day, it is a ‘creative industries festival’ (a bit like the Highlands’ version of SXSW), with talks and workshops on topics like ‘Music Placement in Films’ or ‘Behind the Scenes at the SAY Award’ given by industry pros. Come nightfall however, GoNorth reveals a belter line-up of local acts, who’ll be taking to the venues of Inverness to perform as part of a Scottish showcase. Alarm Bells, Book Group, Casual Sex, Fat Goth (pictured), Garden of Elks and Hector Bizerk will all be there, giving it some before talent scouts and punters alike.
