LA FETE DE LA MUSIQUE Taking place on the summer solstice each year in France, and increasingly across the world too, La Fête de la Musique is a live music free-for- all. The French Institute always marks the occasion, and this year’s line-up includes local singer/songwriter Rosie Nimmo delivering her smooth combo of jazz, folk and blues, Brussels-based brass-band rammy, La Clinik du Dr Poembak (pictured), surf rock duo The Beat Poets, and Jack and The’, a 60s pop project led by Edinburgh-based French musician Julien Lonchamp.
