BRIAN GRIFFITHS: BORROWED WORLD, BORROWED EYES Said to be his most ambitious solo exhibition to date, Brian Griffiths’ Borrowed World, Borrowed Eyes uses the Tramway to its full potential by emphasising the scale of the main gallery space. The exhibition sees Griffiths showcase an array of sculptures of mammoth proportion which can not only be admired from the outside but also explored from the inside. Wander through a labyrinth of geometric sculptures covered in worn, stitched tarpaulins, representing ‘fabricated found objects’ – hybrids of the manufactured and the lovingly handcrafted.
