GLASGOW’S HIDDEN GEOMETRY

Little Bit of Theatre enters the headspace of 1960s avant- garde mob the Situationists with this multidisciplinary night of ‘psychogeographical exploration’. May Mile Thomas’ The Devil’s Plantation a film about Harry Bell, who searched for secrets within Glasgow’s cityscape is paired with tunes from sound artist Caroline McKenzie and the Psychogeographical Commission (who write songs about the occult origins of Glasgow’s subway, of course). And, to help it all make sense, writer David Manderson explains what psychogeography actually is. Wear some sturdy shoes, as you’re probably going to leave with a strong desire to dérive. (Jaclyn Arndt) Ma ryhill Burgh Halls, Glasgow, Sat 27 Jul.
