CONTENTS G lasgow has a strong history of cross-arts collaboration, like artist David Shrigley creating his opera Pass the Spoon, or Turner Prize winner Richard Wright playing guitar in rock band Correcto. The Glasgow School of Art has certainly had a role in this, as has its late-night venue the Vic. This December the space is relaunched, back in its original spot (albeit in a refurbished form) and now as part of the glassy, expansive and yet-to-be-opened Seona Reid building. On page 20 we celebrate the venue’s role in sparking all manner of creative collaborations over the years, and look forward to a top line-up of events.

Elsewhere, we’ve been on a mission to find the best fish and chips in town (page 15), joined the debate around the Palme d’Or-winning film Blue is the Warmest Colour (page 12), taken a trip to Copenhagen’s meat-packing district (page 28), and chatted with child star Chloe Moretz about stepping into one of the most iconic horror roles around in the remake of Carrie (page 57).
