COLLECTIVE-IZ Summerhall plays host to Collective-iz, a group of artist / filmmakers who hail from London, as they showcase a number of their experimental film and video pieces. The group’s work explores performance, new technology and video, as well as the relationship between these elements and the audience. The evening brings together a number of different works, including Nicky Hamlyn’s influential 1974 work 4 x LOOPS and Signals, an interactive video performance using mirrors and light carried out live between Edinburgh and Turkey via Skype.
