Noye’s Fludde Marking the birth of Benjamin Britten on 22 November the day of St Cecilia, patron saint of music 100 years ago, the BBC SSO’s special concert performance and recording for Radio 3 is a celebration telling of Noah and the Ark involving young musicians, amateurs and professionals and with a chance for the audience to join in, too. Ludus Baroque: Christmas Oratorio Is the

start of December too early to get in the mood for Christmas? Not if it’s in the company of Ludus Baroque and their annual performance of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, which this year introduces exciting young Austrian mezzo-soprano Daniela Lehner to the solo ranks for the first time. Scottish Chamber Orchestra: Schumann
