THE INNOCENTS This 1961 adaptation of Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw is a classic psychological horror film with a chilling atmosphere. Miss Giddens (Deborah Kerr) is a sensitive governess hired to look after two children, Flora and Miles. Both are seemingly sweet and adorable, but Miss Giddens soon realises something horrible and unnatural lurks behind the children’s pretty faces.
