YEAH OR NOAH? Re: Russell Crowe on Noah (online)

Noah a vegetarian? Really? Seems kind of silly to me God gave man dominion over plants and animals. Humans are omnivores and we need animal protein for brain development. Also, Noah (a recorded toolmaker) and family were farmers and built the ark to preserve and continue life. If anything, Noah should have killed sociopathic Ham after the l ood, not [spoilers redacted]. Aronofsky should be reassured

Noah existed and his sons and their descendants be traced through Chronicles in the Bible and archaeology to people and places today. In 2002, Holocaust survivors asked an artist to ‘Find Noah’, and in three internet days, they found all the grandchildren and where they lived. Why are the seven Noahide laws, for Jews and Gentiles alike, still the basis for law on earth? I don’t think Darren knows, but he WANTS to know. The Lego Movie’s deathless ss theme song, ‘Everything is Awesome’, has a lot to answer for. List.co.uk user JoanieB went along to Lego exhibition Brick Wonders this month, only te to discover it was ‘not quite ’, as awesome as expected!’, citing ‘no Taj Mahal’ and a Grand Canyon that was ‘small and a bit, well, not very exciting’. When did it become acceptable for people to expect awe-inspiring levels of engagement from a small plastic toy? Oh yeah, since that bloody song was released. Site user Wendi Foxy

on to make used the comments section to make her displeasure known with Sheffield bar Bungalows & Bears, after she and some colleagues were denied entry. ‘we were not drunk or being offensive in any way in fact some of us were not drinking at all .very annoyed by the way we were treated since we were all between the age of 45 and 55 and have scientific professional jobs’. Nothing says you have a ‘scientific professional job’ like poor grammar and stroppiness. Apart from, perhaps, using the phrase ‘scientific professional jobs’. What with this column’s recurring

focus on people’s complaints focus on people’s complaints, we find it’s often nice to finish off with something more positive from The List’s online outlets (much like the ‘And finally . . . story at the end of the news). Thanks then to ith, who kindly used list.co.uk to reach out to pop icon Cher after hearing that she’s had some tough shows recently. ‘Cher,u will never see this post. If u do call [phone number redacted]. Iowa small lake good people.U can have a real hogroast. Not LA.Try something wht diff.’ If there’s one thing Cher wants right now, we reckon it’s a real hog roast.
