GEORGE CLINTON & P-FUNK The extraterrestrial brother himself, George Clinton, returns to Scotland this month with P-Funk in tow. As the leader of Parliament/ Funkadelic, he is credited as the godfather of funk, and as the most sampled artist in history, he’s without doubt one of the dudes who had a helping hand in shaping modern music, influencing everyone from Prince to Wu-Tang Clan. His days of arriving on stage via spaceship may be behind him, but Clinton & P-Funk still continue to carry the spirit of the legendary 70s funk band with them in their performances.
