A cross-continental aerial and street theatre spectacle inhabiting Rottenrow Gardens and its surrounding rooftops, Perch involves over 200 performers; including Scotland’s leading street, circus and aerial artists, a mass community choir, the NYOS Senior Orchestra playing a new Stephen Deazley score, emerging and community performers and a live video link-up to Brazil.

The List has teamed up with the GWCT Scottish Game Fair to offer two family packages to witness the Queen’s Baton landmark visit through the fair on Fri 4 Jul. The Queen’s Baton
Relay will be carried through the picturesque grounds of Scone Palace around 5pm in anticipation of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Their stories are poignant, hilarious, sometimes sad, occasionally uplifting, and they all showcase Alan Bennett’s powers of observation, comic timing and exquisite turn of phrase.
