WIN A MEAL FOR FOUR IN EDINBURGH OR GLASGOW

ESG South Bronx girls Renee and her sisters Valerie and Deborah Scroggins teamed up with their friend Tito Libran 35 years ago to form ESG (which stands for emerald, sapphire and gold). Their mix of hip hop, funk and post-punk created dancefloor classics like ‘UFO’, ‘Moody’ and ‘You’re No Good’, and their music has been sampled all over the shop, from Notorious B.I.G. and the Wu Tang Clan to Tricky, J Dilla, Public Enemy and the Beastie Boys. After various lineup changes and farewell shows, ESG are back on tour, with a new album due out in November join Renee and friends, and dance to the best of ESG. Broadcast, Glasgow, Tue 24 Jun.

Summon a taste of Belgium… This month city dwellers can look forward to the arrival of Heverlee’s distinctive blue bikes, which can be summoned via Twitter to deliver a refreshing HeverleeSent pick-me-up in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Scanning Twitter for those who are in need of a well-earned pint, Heverlee’s cyclists will descend on the streets of the city centre to drop off surprise deliveries to those who least expect it, including vouchers for the brand’s authentic Belgian beer, to be redeemed at a nearby bar. To celebrate the arrival of the HeverleeSent bikes, The List and Heverlee have partnered to offer one reader the chance to win a meal for four at Dram in Glasgow if you’re based in the west coast, or at Edinburgh’s Safari Lounge if you’re in the east. Just two of the excellent bar and kitchens you can find a perfectly poured pint of Heverlee in.

To be in with a chance of winning log on to list.co.uk/offers and tell us: What colour are Heverlee’s distinctive bikes?
