Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party Princes Street. 9pm–1am. £20. This year’s lineup includes Twin Atlantic, Young Fathers and the Twilight Sad on the Waverley Stage. Eddi Reader, Breabach and Ross Ainslie & Jarlath Henderson play the Scottish Stage. On the Mound’s Rewinder Stage, Hot Dub Time Machine plays to 75,000 party- goers, and is beamed on screens along Princes Street. New Beer’s Eve The Hanging Bat, 133 Lothian Road, 229 0759. 7pm. £30.
