A funny, gritty but ultimately heart-warming musical play by Paul Higgins and Ricky Ross about a group of strangers who come together, not always willingly, to sing in a community choir. Singer/songwriter Ricky Ross, who has written songs for James Blunt, Ronan Keating and Jamie Cullum amongst others, has created the songs for The Choir. His band, Deacon Blue’s most successful hits include ‘Dignity’ and ‘Real Gone Kid’. The script is by Paul Higgins, best known for his TV roles in ‘Utopia’ and ‘The Thick of It’.

The Choir wears its heart on its sleeve and opens its arms wide, to share the friendship, solidarity, frustrations and joy that come from singing in a choir. The List are giving away a pair of tickets to see The Choir on Tue 3 Nov, 7.30pm. To be in with a chance of winning just log on to list.co.uk/offers and tell us: What Scottish band is Ricky Ross in?
