Currently filming the third series of ITV’s crime series success story, Broadchurch, he will soon appear as the titular lothario in Don Juan in Soho on the West End stage, and voices Scrooge McDuck for the Disney DuckTales TV reboot. Meanwhile, the Glasgow Film Festival’s curtain will be brought down by Mad to be Normal, in which the Bathgate-born actor plays pioneering psychiatrist RD Laing, one of Govanhill’s most controversial sons.
