As we go to press, the restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic are increasing and creating a significant knock-on effect in many areas of life. Many of the items covered on these pages, from restaurant openings to events, will be significantly affected. In light of this, we are postponing publication of our annual Eating & Drinking Guide. Our intention is to use the delayed publication of the new guides which for the first time will be distributed free and in separate Glasgow and Edinburgh editions as an opportunity to support the hospitality industry in recovering from the impact of the coronavirus shutdown, and use the new-look guides to highlight the wealth of choice and quality we have in the restaurant scene in our two main cities. For more on this, see page 15.
