REVOLUTION: SEX, DANCE, ROCK’N’ROLL

Ex-Riverdancer taps into something new

While past achievement is no guarantee of future quality. Revolution‘s creators. Joel Hanna and Mike Schulster come to Edinburgh with some pretty impressive credentials. A former Riverdance member. Hanna has been US Irish dance champion three times. while Schulster is purportedly the 'next generation of tap‘.

Add to that flamenco hot shot. Kalen Shalahan, and we can reasonably assume high-octane dance is on the cards. Supported by a live rock band and ten backing dancers. the threesome will stomp, click and shuffle their way through various autobiographical tales - no doubt eliciting copious whoops from an adoring crowd. Inspired genre-hopping spectacle or shameless commercial pap? As that Geordie blokC would say. you decide.
