Get ready to rumba

The International Festival’s late-night programme continues with the inordinater talented Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui creating Tempus Fugit for Belgian contemporary company, Les Ballets C de la 8. This is followed by Catalan choreographer. Cesc Gelabert, who gets us hot under the collar with his exciting rumbas and boleros in They Came Watering Flowers from Havana to Moron. Accompanied by a live Cuban quartet, Gelabert’s work blends old and new Spanish styles to create a joyful fusion of music and movement. (Kelly Apter)
