Essentially a form of bowls played by throwing rather than rolling the bowls. it is apparently now quite popular over here. If the weather also decides to play the game. it could make a pleasant and different day out in Ilopetoun's spacious grounds. The top four teams (each of three players) go forward to the Finals in London in September. where largish cash prizes are on offer. so competition should be fierce.
