Drama, mask making and craft work leading up to a performance. 3, 4 & 5 July; 17, 18 &19 July and 31 Jul, 1& 2 Aug. 11am—4pm. Bring a packed lunch and wear old clothes. £3 per day. The Art Machlna Until 26 Aug. Mon—Sat. lOam—5pm; Sun, noon-6pm (late opening until 10pm on Thurs). Exhibition to stimulate an understanding of art and design. Exhibits range from a large sea monster made from two old fishing boats to an enormous mask whose mouth is the doorway to a carnival in Venice. Visitors are encouraged to be creative and take part. Variety of workshops, drama. storytelling, writing, computers. animation, ongoing every day. Materials including sand and water, Lego bricks and dressing-up gear, are provided. Play area with specially designed toys for younger children.
