From Chardonnay grapes comes Champagne, arguably the world’s finest wine.

But what does this fact have to do with Gold Bier, arguably the world’s finest bier?

Simply this. Gold Bier is made to an authentic pilsner recipe.

Which means that it must be fermented using a technique similar to the Cuve Close method of making Champagne, even down to using a relative of Champagne yeast.

Long before fermentation, however, other

rare ingredients must be brought together.

The finest aromatic female hops from Bavaria.

An old-fashioned and scarce variety of malting barley.

And the pure, soft water of the Scottish Highlands.

Add 450 years of Scottish brewing exper- tise and you have a bier of pale, golden colour, fragrant aroma and fresh, light taste.

intentional.
