lwon’t pretend to have understood it. But I won’t say I didn't enjoy trying to fathom it out either.
A Russian director teams up with a Canadian company to perform two short Belgian plays and it comes out as a cross between Pirandello and Twin Peaks. I really didn’t think people made theatre like this any more. Ouite bizarre, it's more akin to 70s avant-garde than 90s periormance art.
Sulllce it to say that in amongst this peculiar melange there are people on stilts, others in bondage, snatches oi Hamlet, an angry author and three blind men who claim to be able to see with their sticks. One tor the seriously curious. (Mark Fisher)
