I new Space Kilmarnock‘s newest club venue. opens it‘s designer doors on Fri 15 Oct and looks set to cause quite a sensation on the West Coast scene. The club interior has been designed by Glaswegian based Graven Images. and promises to be one of the best looking clubs in the country.
But wait a minute. aren‘t clubs about music? Well fear not. along with the outrageously vivid visual gratification your aural desires will be well and truly catered to. Friday nights are Paradise Park. with resident DJ Kevin Wilson (Bomba) and a host of some of the hottest up-and-coming DJs around. house music heaven. While Saturday‘s is the Raw Space night itself. with residents Kevin Wilson and Colin Gate playing a massive selection of underground house and choice garage tunes. with the added attraction of the occasional very special guest popping in and playing a set.

I nezerection returns after the massive success of The Event in August (apart from sound difficulties experienced by The Prodigy. thanks to the Department of Health and Envoirment waving their decibel measurer‘s around like light sticks and making sure the noise levels didn‘t exceed
‘specified restrictions‘. yawn).
This time 'round twelve hour raving will be
supplemented by a host of
demented hardcore DJs and top PAs including Shades ()f Rhythm. GTO and Rhythmic State. DJs confirmed are Carl Cox. Grooveridcr. Ratty. Bass Generator. Marc Smith. Mikey B and Scotland's own KMC.
Tickets are £24. available from regular outlets and will no doubt sell as quickly as usual. I Tribal Funktion (Edinburgh) has a very special guest DJ on 30 Sept in the form of Peter S. the legendary New York underground house DJ and mix-maestro. Paradise Garage. the Sound Factory and Shelter (Manhattan) are his usual haunts and this is his very first DJ appearance in the UK. And as a way of saying thank you to all their regular punters the night in question will be the normal door price of a tneasly £4. get on down. I A quick thank you from me. as I head off into the sunset. to everybody I‘ve met over the last year involved in the Edinburgh and Scottish club scene.
