Your enthusiasm for and knowledge of the arts will asist you in this challenging and varied role. Reporting to the General Manager and Artistic Director, you will ensure the smOOth operation of the day to day aspect of Glasgow's liveliest theatre.

A sound knowledge of good office practice and experience of staff supervision essential.

SALARY £18,912 - £20,574 (Two year contract)

Building on its existing commitment towards making Edinburgh a Child Friendly City, the District Council wants to appoint a Child Friendly Officer.

The post will be on a two year contract. in the first instance.

We are looking for someone who is a good team-builder. capa- ble of working with minimal supervision and to tight timescales. The individual appointed will have excellent communication skills and will have experience in working across internal/exter- nal boundaries. The successful applicant may come from a variety oI backgrounds but should be able to demonstrate experience of multi-agency working. Experience of project management is essential.

The understanding of. and commitment to. Child Friendly issues is obviously a requirement. Equally important is the abili. ty to enthuse and motivate individuals at all levels in the busi- ness. third/voluntary and statutory sectors.
