FILM DEVELOPMENT ' OFFICER
Salary Circa - 614,000
A new initiative. jointly funded by Eden Court The- atre (a 2 screen venue) and the Scottish Film Coun- cil. Initially fixed term contract of one year reviewable.
Principal function of this post will be to achieve. maintain. develop and implement Eden Court The- atre's film policy. The successful applicant will have awareness and knowledge of film programming and film development. A self-motivated person is sought with enthusiasm. a sense of humour and the ability at times to work under pressure in a team situation. Knowledge of cinema budgeting and publicity are desirable. Knowledge of the Scottish educational system and previous work with film in an education- al and/or community context would be advanta- geous.
