N.A.l. present this. their third annual Analogue event. featuring the founder of Labworks (Hoschi) plus N.A.l. residents Shandy and Andy Gavin. Lighting comes from the Spot Co. (London) and the venue will be transformed by Power Tool 5000. I The Ark at The Tunnel. l0.30piii-3am. £5 (£3). A totally rammed night with residents Michael Kilkie and Scott Mackay directing the main room house style. while Duncan Reid and Simon Foy blow the system in Room Two. All drinks £l before midnight.

I Hard Times at The Arena. l().30piii—3.30am. £7 (£5). 21 July only. Hard Times back at The Arena (featuring the residents Miles Holloway and Elliot Eastwick) on yet another linglisli club tour.

I Helter Skelter at The Venue. l0.30piii—3aiii. £3 (£2.50). Long-serving rock/indie/70s/funk/kitsch night. Started in l988. the night still has the original DJ. I Katch at The Cathouse. Studio Three. lOpm—3am. £3. lndie/studenty/good time vibes. All drinks £l.50.

I love Bug at The Garage. 10.30pm—3am. £3 (£2). Commercial dance with a retro edge with man about town. DJ Graeme.

I Mean Streets at The l3th Note

Claire, a Glasgow University lilm student from Helen’s Bay (Northern Ireland) is a bit or a Sub Club honey

(basement). Spin—midnight. Free. The club that ably charts the history of rock and roll from lilvis to l’ortishead.

I Parklite at The Arena. llpm—3am. £3.50 (£2.50). The idea of the indie night repaired. repackaged and redesigned with a surprisingly mixed crowd packing the place out. All drinks £ I .20 before l2.30ani. Not 21 July.

I Phar Out at Glasgow School of Art. ‘).3()piii---late. £2.50. A siiiokiii night of eclectic black music sponsored by Dr Jives and Stussy. Resident DJ Paul Cawley is joined every week by guest DJs Nick Peacock. Marc from R.A.D or Colin from Boiiiba.

I Rubber Soul at The Cathouse. Studio I. 10pm-3am. £3. 60s and 70s music.

I Shag at Fury Murry’s. llpm—3am. £4 (£3). Maintaining the legacy of the traditional student night. a rare species today.

I Sill at Rhapsody llpm—3am. £5 (£3). All drinks £ l .50. Derrick and Sam Wallace playing ‘a mixed bag of heavenly house to a principally commercial crowd. I Slam at The Arches. 10.30pm—3aiii. £7. Still keeping the momentum going. Slam is one of the few clubs in Glasgow that is working on a truly national level. Underground. upfront. technologically- minded dance music from Stuart and ()rde. 14 July. Stuart McMillan isjoined by the Space DJs and Bandqu live.

I Soundclash at The l3th Note (ground floor). Spiii—iiiidniglit. Free. Long-running listening experience based around heavy dub rhythms and quality techno. Look out for forthcoming unannounced guests.
