Him is centered around a single situation a lover's ultimatum illustrated through three separate stories. Amusing cameo appearances from Hartley regulars titillate the attdience. while the rhythmic dialogue. tightly choreographed action and colourful characterisation inject the film with the director's distinctive vibrancy.
