GLASGOW LIFE

"Beer Drinking in Moterwell

A festival of beer - can't we just go to the pub? You could, but it’s doubtful that your local will be serving 34 beers from 21 countries around the world,

including Lapland, Ukraine and Tasmania.

Is it just for lager Iouts then? Certainly not - it’s for people who enjoy a few beers as well as connoisseurs who know their Cornish Knocker from their

Schiehallion.

Is there anything other than beer on the menu? Yep, there’ll be lots of food available to help the beer go down, as well as live music from bands such as

Brazilian groovers Drumatic.

And how much is all this excess going to cost me? It’s just £3 to get in (£1.50 with a Passport to Leisure) but if you arrive before 6pm on the Friday and 1pm on

Saturday you’ll get in free.
